Camp Chapel has a number of other ministries. If you are interested in learning more about the ministries below or would like to start a new one please contact us.
Blessing of the Animals
Each year Camp Chapel conducts a Blessing of the Animals service in the fall. Pet owners from the congregation and also from the surrounding community participate, and all are welcome.
We present each pet with a certificate of blessing and a St. Francis Prayer card.
The Garden Ministry has allowed members to honor God in a very special way. Each person has adopted a section of the church’s gardens or landscape to nurture and oversee its care.
As a result, beautiful flowers, trees, and shrubs surround His house of worship, giving God the honor and glory for all of nature and His creation.
There is something unique about music and its power to convey the Gospel message. The music program at Camp Chapel includes a spiritually grounded volunteer Chancel Choir that sings weekly at the 11:00 a.m. traditional worship service. Their rehearsals are held Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.
Chapel Bells, a five-octave handbell choir, rehearses on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. and provides preludes, offertories, and sometimes postludes at the 11:00 a.m. worship service once a month.
Both choirs provide music for the special services at Christmas, Lent and Easter. They also perform a Christmas and a Spring Concert along with talented instrumentalists from the congregation.
The music program sponsors several guest artists concerts during the year that include a variety of genres.
Camp Chapel also has a group of contemporary music worship leaders that lead worship during the extravagant worship service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Due to COVID-19 the music program has been suspended until further notice.
Our Substance Abuse Ministry works with several local organizations supporting individuals and families. Organizations we sponsor include Narcotics Anonymous (NA), Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing (GRASP) .
Due to COVID-19 the substance abuse programs have been suspended until further notice.
