Ways to Get Involved

This page is dedicated to the various opportunities in and around our church which allow you to get involved in a group or an activity. Please check back often.

Immediate Needs

Attending the Church Planning / Spirital Retreat on Saturday, February 13th, at Marshy Point Nature Center
Attending the Newcomer's Orientation class on February 14th and 21st at 9:30 am in the Hall

Ungoing Needs

Nursery helper at the 11 am service
Litigurist at either the 8:30 or 11 am services
Scripture reader at either the 8:30, 9:30 or 11 am services
Volunteering for Junior church for a Sunday during the 11 am service
Visiting or calling home-bound members of the congregation
Prayer Chain participant
Newsletter helpers (generally the fourth Wednesday of every month)
Ushering for a month during a worship service
Hospitality visitors to deliver bread to new attendees on Sunday afternoons
Chancel choir member (rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:30 pm)
Chancel choir member (rehearsals are Thursdays at 7:30 pm)
Bell choir member (rehearsals are Mondays at 7:30 pm)
Children's choir (age 3 to 9) member (rehearsals are Thursdays from 6:45 until 7:15 pm)
Contemporary service praise team member (meetings are on Monday nights from 7 until 9)
We serve dinner at the Eastern Regional Shelter three times a month. There is currently a team that serves the first Monday, another team the second Wednesday, and a third team the fourth Tuesday of every month.
